Semiconductor IC Design is one of the most important areas of high-tech industry in Taiwan.
Advanced study in Semiconductor IC Design is considered as one of the most interesting directions for graduate studies. The College of EECS in NCU gathers best courses in Semiconductor IC Design, to offer a special program and foster students who are interested in Semiconductor IC Design. Students (both international and domestic) study in the College of EECS can freely chooses at least 21 units (including 6 units from the list of fundamental course), to meet the requirements of the International Program in Semiconductor IC Design. All courses are taught in English. An official certificate will be given to students who meet the requirements. Courses transferred from other universities can be approved by the office of the College of EECS.
- The purpose of International Program in Semiconductor IC Design is to foster graduate students (both Master and Ph. D. students) professional skills in Semiconductor IC Design.
- The Requirements of International Program in Semiconductor IC Design:
- Any Master or Ph. D. students (both domestic and international) in the College of EECS are eligible to apply for the program.
- In order to complete the program, at least 21 course units should be selected and passed. At least 2 course (or 6 units) must be selected from the fundamental courses and at least 5 courses (or 15 units) must be selected from the advanced courses).
- Students who meet the above requirements will receive an official certificate from the College of EECS.
